Biden promises. It’s what he does – and he’s made a lot of different promises even before he made it into the Oval Office. We’ve seen that he breaks those promises, too. All he does is offer lip service to appease the American people. As soon as he has a chance to go back on a promise, he does.
Biden was supposed to be a moderate Democrat. It’s one of the reasons why he was paired as VP with Barrack Obama – to help offer balance to a progressive individual such as what Obama had to offer.
We’ve seen time and again over the past year that Biden isn’t moderate. Much of that has to do with the way that he has become a puppet to the far-left. He doesn’t want to make any of them unhappy, so he smiles, nods, and goes along with whatever socialist plans they have – even if it means hurting Americans along the way.
Biden promised to make gas prices better. He swore up and down that he had a plan to offer some relief to the high prices that people were paying at the pump.
He lied – and now, Americans are paying higher gas prices than ever before. According to AAA, the gas prices hit a record this past Tuesday. The national average is now $4.37 for regular unleaded gas. With most small cars holding 12 gallons of gas, it means that it will cost over $50 to fill it up – a stark contrast to the $22 it used to cost when Trump was in office.
In case you don’t remember, Biden promised in February that he’d “work like the devil” to bring gas prices down. Then, in March, he promised that the gas prices would start to drop 10 to 35 cents a gallon because of releasing emergency oil stocks. It was short-lived, though.
We already know how to lower gas prices – allow the U.S. to become energy independent again. It’s how we can enjoy the under $2 a gallon prices that we were paying just a few short years ago.
Energy prices have been skyrocketing as a result of Russia invading Ukraine. And Biden would love to blame everything on Putin. However, if we were using our own oil stocks, we wouldn’t be subject to the skyrocketing energy prices set by other countries.
As Patrick De Haan, Gas Buddy’s head of petroleum analysis stated, “There’s little, if any, good news about fuel prices heading into summer, and the problem could become worse should we see an above average hurricane season, which could knock out refinery capacity at a time we badly need it as refined product inventories continue to plummet.”
If your eye is twitching right about now, join the club.
Now, Republicans do have a plan. There are countless senators and representatives who have discussed ways to fix inflation and reduce the gas prices – but it involves putting Americans first.
We’ve seen time and again that Biden is not a fan of putting Americans first. As such, he’s identified the Republicans’ plans as “ultra-MAGA” and “extremist.”
Let’s keep in mind that MAGA has nothing to do with Trump, really. It stands for “Make America Great Again.” So, before Biden wants to turn MAGA into an insult, he might want to remember what it means. And when he says it in a negative way, it’s basically like he’s saying that he doesn’t want to make America great again and that anyone who does is an extremist.
So much for unity, huh? Oh yeah, that’s another way that Biden has lied.
As much as the liberals try to defend the president’s moves, we have already learned what Biden is: a liar. Unfortunately, we’re all paying for his lies every time we fill up our gas tank.
