Ever since Elon Musk purchased Twitter, the left has hated using the app more and more with each passing day. The fact-checking they were wanted for years was finally given to them, and they don’t know what to do with it.

Then again, unlike Instagram and Facebook, fact-checking on Twitter has been down the line, with no real input for either party to push their agenda or silence the other side.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is the latest to get a taste of her own medicine. On November 15th, Twitter caught her bold-face lying about the abilities President Biden has for canceling student debt.

Let’s be clear: President Biden has the legal authority to cancel student debt.

Republican officials need to get out of the way so Americans can get this much-needed relief.

“Let’s be clear: President Biden has the legal authority to cancel student debt. Republican officials need to get out of the way so Americans can get this much-needed relief.”

Underneath her tweet of lies, Twitter provided clarity on the matter.

First, it cited an article from PolitiFact that was first published on June 14th, 2021. It explained that experts disagree about the President’s capabilities here. The article then explained that because there isn’t an incredibly clear answer, it would likely lead to litigation if the issue ever got pushed hard enough.

Secondly, Twitter cited an article from CBS about a federal appeals court blocking student loan forgiveness from going through. Under an emergency motion, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in October blocked it from being executed, and since then, it has remained in limbo.

With no certainly being issued yet, and the end of the year coming, Biden may be forced to authorize a delay in student loan debt resuming as his promise has yet to be fulfilled.

Biden’s plans would cancel $20,000 in student loan debt for Pell Grant recipients and $10,000 for others who used Federal student loans. Since first announced, this has been an incredibly polarizing issue. With total costs expected to exceed $400 billion, this has been a polarizing issue across the country, and many striking out against others over the issue.

Legal challenges have been popping up across the country since the plan was first announced, and on November 10th, a Texas judge torpedoed the plan with Job Creators Network Foundation bringing the case. Filed in the District Court of the Northern District of Texas, they took the stand that they were denied due process to object to the move during a comment period.

US District Judge Mark Pittman wrote the verdict.

“Whether the Program constitutes good public policy is not the role of this Court to determine. Still, no one can plausibly deny that it is either one of the largest delegations of legislative power to the executive branch or one of the largest exercises of legislative power without congressional authority in the history of the United States.”

This ruling and the block of the student loan forgiveness seem to have confused Sen. Warren. Her outspoken attitude has gotten her in trouble with the press, and now that she’s being fact-checked on this, it is being put on full display for everyone to see.

While she and the rest of the left are confused about Biden not being able to shove this down the throats of the American taxpayer, the rules on the matter have been incredibly clear.

Ironically enough, we all know that had Trump or any other conservative President even suggested the American taxpayer cover $400 billion in student loans, the left would have had full-scale riots.

As it stands, it’s a shock that they haven’t taken to the streets to protest the big changes at Twitter. Being told that they are wrong is just another item on the laundry list of things the left can’t stand.
